Residential Terms Of Service

We have to take your organic waste to the Cloverdale Waste Management facility because contractors are prohibited from disposing of waste in the St. Albert compost yard. Residents can. Your landscaping company/provider cannot!

All services are weather permitting:

a) We avoid performing services in the rain, as this is not good for our equipment and is unsafe for our operators.

b) During spring and fall cleanups we avoid working in windy conditions. Why? Neighbors will not be pleased if your organic debris blows onto their properties. We wouldn’t appreciate that either.
c) Our winter packages include a 24-hour snow-clearing window after a snowfall ends. Please Note: The twenty-four (24) hour service takes effect during the next work day at (7:00 AM) on weekdays & (9:00 AM) on weekends.

d) We clear a snowfall within twenty-four (24) hours, however, larger storms and blizzard conditions may require an extended period of time. St. Albert Lawn and Snow continues to return to your home non-stop on rotation until your property looks perfect.

e) During the last decade our winter weather patterns have changed causing freezing rain and icy conditions throughout the season like never before. As a result, slips and falls have become more prevalent than ever before in St. Albert and Edmonton. We do offer ice melt options that will keep your driveway clear of ice throughout the season.

f) During the summer, we avoid working during extreme heat conditions for prolonged periods as this is unsafe for our operators. In the case of delays caused by rain or extreme heat conditions, we will cut your lawn on the next day weather permitting. The following week we will return to your regular cutting day.

g) During the summer season there will be exceptional weeks when it rains too many days in a row to maintain any reasonable schedule. In these situations, common sense will prevail.
During the times of spring, summer, and fall work all obstacles (ie. doggie doo/lawn furniture/children’s toys) must be moved off the grass area prior to arrival. However, if the task is not completed before arrival, a fee will be added to that month of service.
